Hah, noch mehr Beute vom Stempelmekka verarbeitet! Die Vögel „happy birds“ von Wplus9 hatte ich schon lange auf meiner Liste stehen und beim Mekka habe ich sie zufällig entdeckt und mir gleich gesichert. :D Über den Kauf war auch der Held sehr froh, der mag die Piepmätze auch gern.

Ich wollte das Colorieren auf craftfarbenem Untergrund üben; wenn man das richtig macht, knallen die Farben richtig schön! Ist noch ausbaufähig, aber es wird langsam.
Gestempelt wurden Vögel und Ast mit Versafine-Tinte. Die hat eine Ölbasis und reagiert damit nicht auf Wasser – perfekt in dem Fall, weil ich meine Aquarellfarben hier noch etwas vermischen wollte.

Zum Colorieren habe ich mir die Faber-Castell Art Grip Aquarelle Stifte rausgekramt, die eigentlich der Held gekauft hat, als der Trend mit den Ausmalbüchern losging. Zur Zeit male eindeutig ich mehr damit, hihi! :eek:
Ich übe noch, Farbverläufe sind nicht so einfach für mich. Vielleicht hat von euch da draußen ein paar Tricks und Kniffe für mich auf Lager? :)

The „happy birds“ from Wplus9 have been on my wish list for ages. Like, since the release date, but I never bought them. Then I saw the set on a stamping fair in Germany called „Stempelmekka“ and finally got the stamps!

I wanted to practise colouring on craft coloured cardstock. If you do it the right way the colours will really pop – I’m still learing, but I think it looks good enough for now. I stamped the birds and the branch in Versafine ink. It’s an oilbased ink so it’s perfect for adding water to your colouring later.
I have chosen the Faber Castell Art Grip Aquarelle crayons and blended them with my waterbrush pen. As I said, I’m still trying with that medium – maybe some of you have some neat tips and tricks for me? :)

Mal was ganz anderes von mir, oder? Ich hab‘ schon ewig kein gemustertes Papier mehr benutzt, hier hat’s irgendwie danach geschrieen. Gestempelt hatte ich auf ein schmales Reststück, ich wollte eigentlich nur mal sehen, ob ich eine Figur zufriedenstellend mit Copics colorieren kann. Kann ich, also wollte ich es nutzen. :)

Die Dame stammt aus dem Hause „The Greeting Farm“ und wurde mit Memento-Tinte gestempelt. Eine Tinte auf Wasserbasis, also geeignet um mit Copics zu colorieren, die ja Alkoholmarker sind.
Coloriert habe ich auf die „klassische“ Weise, von hell nach dunkel und wieder zurück.
Das Stück Papier durch die BigShot, mit einer Rahmenstanze – geschummelte Stickerei, seht ihr’s? – ein wenig Pepp verpasst und auf ein Stück grünes Musterpapier aufgeklebt. Das Grün passte gut zu den Grüntönen der Copic Marker, und ich mag Grün lieber als Gelb. ;)

Ein Text aus dem selben Set dazu.. es verdient seinen Namen „Nerds Out“, oder? „Cu“ wusste ich noch, das ist Kupfer, „Te“ musste ich googeln: Tellur. Chemie war nie so mein Ding. |D
Ahja, und weil mir ein glatter Rand nicht gefallen hat, habe ich den Rand noch gestanzt. Leider hat die Stanze nicht alle Lagen sauber geschnitten und ich wollte mit der Schere nachhelfen (anstatt einfach nochmal durch die BigShot, was einfacher und sauberer gewesen wäre – blonder Moment!), deswegen sieht der etwas gefleddert aus.

Today I have something different for you – it has been a long time since I used patterned paper! But I HAD to use it for this card.
I wanted to know if I could colour a whole figurine so I stamped it on a piece of scratch paper – and found out after that yes, I can colour it and it looks okayish, so I wanted to use it.

I stamped the girl with Memento ink, which is a waterbased ink. That makes it perfect for Copic colouring, because Copics are alcohol markers – the ink won’t bleed. I coloured in the most basic way possible; from light to dark and back to my lightest colour.
To add some interest to the small strip of paper, I added some faux stitching with a die, then glued the panel on a piece of green patterned paper. The green matched the green from my Copics quite well – and I like green more than yellow. ;)

The sentiment is from the same stamp set – it really fits the name „Nerds Out“, doesn’t it? I had to google what Te stands for (Tellur), but was able to remember Cu.
I did not like a straight edge on the card, so I put it into my BigShot and added a squiggly border. Unfortunately the die did not cut through all of the layers and I took my scissors to cut the rest. I should have put it into the BigShot once more. The outcome would have looked better, but I did not think that far.

[Werkeltisch] #151 – Geburtstagskarte „beautiful day“

Geburtstagskarte von vor gefühlt hundert Jahren – aus dem Juli nämlich. Gesendet wurde sie an Missi und vor lauter lauter habe ich vergessen ein Foto davon zu machen. Liebe Missi, vielen Dank für’s Ablichten! :D

Mal wieder easy peasy, kennt ihr ja.
Aquarellpapier nass machen und Farben *reintropfen, reinmalen – wie es euch gefällt. Das Wasser arbeitet für euch, wenn ihr es lasst, also bringt mit dem Pinsel am besten nur die Farben auf und freut euch, wenn’s schicke Effekte gibt.
Trocknen lassen und bei Bedarf noch eine Schicht Farbe drüber. Die zweite Schicht trockne ich gerne mit dem Heißluftföhn, dann gibt es diese „schärferen“ Ränder.

Der schwierigste Teil kommt jetzt: das wunderschöne Panel mit Stanze durch die BigShot jagen und damit zerschneiden. Ein bisschen drüber jammern, während gekurbelt wird und dann aufpassen, dass keine Kleinteile verloren gehen. 3D Klebeband gibt der Chose noch mehr Tiefe, dann kommt das Negativ richtig schön zur Geltung.

Ein paar Pailletten drauf, ein nettes Sprüchlein dazu – fertig!

*Nachtrag: Unklug ausgedrückt – ich nehme Farbe mit einem Pinsel auf und tupfe den dann auf’s Papier. ^^“

I made this birthday card in july for my friend Missi – she took the photo, too, because I totally forgot that part, haha.
The card is easy to make, like a lot of my cards are. ;)

First, add some water to your watercolour paper and drop some colour on. The water does the work for you if you allow it to; the best thing is to really just add colour and be happy about the nice blending. ;)
Let it dry and add another layer of colour after. I like to dry the second coat with my heat tool to get some hard edges over all the blending.

Putting the panel into your BigShot and cutting it apart is the hardest part in the process. Be carefull to not loose any small pieces from your panel, you will need them all!
Add some 3D foam behind the panel and the smaller parts and fill in your design on a card base. Use the positive piece to glue the background in place, it might be helpful to find the right spot for the smaller pieces.

Glue down some sequins and add your sentiment – done!
